US Special Forces, Indochina 1971

Did up this figure a few years back but I never got around to photographing it.

Here's the parts breakdown -

Hot Toys: bonnie, webbing, pistol + holster, smoke grenades, gloves, nude
BBI: head sculpt
21C TUS: uniform
Zacca: RPG-7
InToyz: M16A1
ACE: boots

For the longest of time, I wasn't sure if the RPG-7 was used in Indochina during the Vietnam war period. A search on the Internet turned up the following photograph.

The Zacca RPG has a modern warhead (RPG-7VS?) but it will do for now till I can get my hands on one with an appropriate warhead or the Armoury RPG-2.

Tour of Duty - Paint It Black

The opening credits with Rolling Stones' Paint It Black was how I remembered it. The generic music that replaced it on the DVDs is just so wrong.
